When I left college after being humbled by a string of optimistic and short-lived dorm room startups, the only thing I craved from my early career was to be exposed to as many companies in crisis as I could.
Working 8 years in a growing revenue consulting firm was gloving up in the emergency room of small to mid-size companies. From companies just coming into the world and needing a direction, to existing teams that are in revenue trouble, to leaders who just didn't know where to begin, I had the privilege of working with teams in every stage of revenue generation.
Hundreds of companies, dozens of industries, until problems and issues started to rhyme up and down the funnel.
Gratefully forged in the crucible of sales and marketing problems needing to be solved, I gained perspective, and a healthy appreciation for the growing complexity of revenue generation with the goal of simplifying sales and marketing problems for others and fostering both their company's and their personal sustainable growth.
